    Summary: This workshop aims to provide some basic information relating to copyright and licensing in teaching, and highlight where members of staff can find help in relation to copyright queries. The session will: provide a description of copyright; identify UK copyright exemptions and discuss the education exemption highlight educational licenses; consider copyright and licensing in relation to open and closed spaces in teaching; offer some worked examples of copyright queries; introduce the GCU UK Copyright Advisor. The introductory copyright and licensing in teaching workshop is suitable for academic and support staff who deliver teaching, and would like to learn more about copyright and licensing and how to ensure their teaching materials are copyright compliant.
