Each pathway shares a strong Computer Science foundation. The difference is where you place more emphasis as you progress through the degree.

Develop deeper expertise in software engineering, architecture, development practices, programming paradigms and cloud technologies.
Specialise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing and advanced AI.
These programmes are currently subject to final University approval, so some details may change before launch.

Department research includes machine learning, deep learning, Internet of Things, smart healthcare, health data science, blockchain and educational technology.
Authentic project work in Year 3 and a 60-credit final-year project give you space to apply and integrate what you have learned.
