This lecture is divided into 3 sections:
Section 1 - provides insight into the background of lean management and covers the first 2 principles.
Section 2 - discussed the remaining principles 3, 4 and 5.
Section 3 - discusses the various sources of waste and the '5S' framework for tackling the sources of waste.
Several examples of past exam questions are also provided to give students some idea as to the structure, format and type of questions that have been asked of students in previous assessments which have included this topic area. |
