Summary: You should now be developing your detailed project proposal for a project suitable as a final Honours Project in the undergraduate Computing programme. Remember that the proposal must describe a practice-based capstone project. This means that the project will be a research project where the main research method is development of a new product or artefact. As noted previously in this module, there is an expectation that you will demonstrate and report on the whole development lifecycle (including analysis, design, implementation and testing) as well as the evaluation of the knowledge gained in undertaking the project. This week's presentation is aimed primarily at helping you to develop the Project Methods and Objectives section in your proposal. In this presentation you will see some discussion of the issues you should consider when developing your ideas for: • The project development lifecycle • Requirements gathering • Testing • Evaluation • Involving people (including users) in your project
