Biography: Dr Maggie Lawrence has a background in neurological rehabilitation nursing and in information science. She is based in the School of Health & Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University. Her research focus is on patient-/ family-centred stroke care, and on lifestyle interventions for the prevention of recurrent stroke. She led development of a stroke secondary prevention module, Keeping Well, part of the stroke self management website: selfhelp4stroke(selfhlep4stroke.org)
Maggie is an experienced systematic reviewer and engages in a variety of knowledge transfer activities.
