Summary: | Big data workload can be grouped into two different types: Operational Workloads (also referred to as real-time, interactive workloads) and Analytical Workloads (also referred to as offline workload). Different type of workloads presents different challenges and need different classes of technology to support, although both types of the workloads tend to operate over many servers operating in a cluster, managing tens or hundreds of terabytes of data across billions of records. |
