| Summary: | This session provides an introduction to the GCU Publications Policy (2025). The session highlights the policy rationale, scope and key points, whilst also outlining the institutional Rights Retention Strategy (RRS), a legal framework which allows authors to retain intellectual property rights to their research. The University has adopted this policy to ensure its researchers can comply with the forthcoming REF2029 Open Access Policy and to enable the University to disseminate its research and scholarship as widely as possible. The session covers what GCU researchers need to do to ensure compliance with the GCU Publications Policy (2025) and the REF2029 Open Access Policy. |
