Biography:
Since 2004, the Glasgow Centre for Population Health (GCPH) has sought to generate insights and evidence, support new approaches, and inform and influence action to improve health and tackle inequality. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, we conduct research of direct relevance to policy and practice; facilitate and stimulate the exchange of ideas, fresh thinking and debate; and support processes of development and change. Based in Glasgow, we have a focus on the particular characteristics of this city, but our approaches and learning have implications for other cities, not only in the UK, but worldwide.
