Summary: | For functions of a single variable there are two types of integration. The first is indefinite integration, which is effectively “differentiation in reverse”, and the second is definite Integration. Before we consider how to integrate functions of two variables, we shall consider the “construction” of definite integrals and extend this idea to double integrals. |
